SIS
SIS is a neo-folk band with a genre-defying sound that incorporates elements of post-rock and folk music. The band was formed by a dynamic duo of TxBONE (Vo./A.Gt.), who is covered in tattoos from head to toe, and TAKUAN(Vo./A.Gt.), a collage lecturer during the day, came together along side with TAKAYA (Drs.). UJI (E.Gt.) and TAKUMI (Perc./Sampler/Cho.) joined in 2024, forming a five-member band. The band's name is derived from the Japanese words for <death> and <life>. SIS explores themes such as death, life, and complex human emotions through their lyrics and music, blending anger and compassion.
