Urban Legend

The interplay of piano, bright piano, trumpet, and bass creates a unique sonic world. The sound evokes a sense of realism -- a feeling that the story could actually happen -- rather than coming across as a complete fabrication.

Folklorist Jan Harold Brunvand defines an "urban legend" as a novel story set against the backdrop of urban life, said to have befallen someone like a "friend of a friend."
