The RST (= Rhythm Section of Toki) is a piano trio by regular members of the Hidefumi Toki quintet. The members are Mayuko Katakura: piano / Yasuhiko Sato: bass / Shingo Okudaira: drums. Three of the bandmates, who are top talented players, will play an original piece by Hidefumi Toki in a piano trio without Toki.

    RST means "Rhythm Section of Toki", that is, the rhythm squad of jazz sax master Hidefumi Toki's Band. The members are Mayuko Katakura (p), Yasuhiko Sato (b) and Shingo Okudaira (ds), three skilled musicians who represent the Japanese jazz scene. The three members who have supported the "Toki Sound" as a member of the band play the Toki's original compositions in a piano trio.
