This project is a collaborative work between singer Kaoruko and producer Goemon, two artists with distinct musical backgrounds.
The project began with the release of yoru to tomoni Remix and evolved through ongoing sessions between Nagoya and Tokyo, culminating in the four-track EP fvn.
The title track "fvn" is driven by an acid-infused bassline and vocal layers, intertwined with jazz-influenced chords, forming the core of the EP's sound.
"back spin" stands out with its percussive rhythm and expressive vocals.
While grounded in a low-end-focused groove, the track carries a sense of lightness and forward motion on the dance floor.
On "memorise remix," a track originally co-written with Stones Taro in 2024, the song is reworked into a more club-oriented form, reshaped with a stronger focus on dance music functionality.
Shaped through movement between two cities, fvn introduces a subtle yet distinctive presence into the contemporary dance music landscape.
Singer-songwriter born in Yokosuka and raised in Shinjuku. Her music is inspired by a wide range of genres from pop and rock to dance music, and she writes and produces her own songs.
