Imperfect, that's lovely
Imperfect, that's beautiful
No one is perfect
So let's live together
Artist / Singer-Songwriter From Nakanoto, Ishikawa, Japan. Since 2015, Eri Imamachi has been active in the Tokyo music scene, releasing self-produced CDs (four singles and one album). She has also hosted an FM radio program, sharing messages that gently connect with people's hearts through music and words. In 2023, she relocated her base of activities to Nakanoto, her hometown. Inspired by the town where Japan's oldest fossilized rice ball was discovered, she created the music video for the song "ONIGIRI." With choreographer KOHMEN and the support of more than 1,000 people-including local students, residents, the Governor of Ishikawa Prefecture, and Ukon, the proprietress of the famous onigiri shop Bongo-the project grew into a movement that connects people through smiles. The dance has even been incorporated into the town's athletic festivals, becoming a song rooted in the local community. On January 1, 2024, the Noto Peninsula earthquake destroyed her home and she herself became a survivor of the disaster. From that experience, she created the recovery support songs "Te wo Toriatte" and "Hand in Hand." Since then, she has continued performing at evacuation shelters, temporary housing communities, and recovery events, bringing music to people affected by the disaster. With the theme of delivering hope for life and moments of gentle relief through music, she will officially begin a new chapter of her career as ERIORA in 2026.
