m-alが前作「R e :」から早くも最新アルバム「RIFt」をリリース。
前作では表現しきれなかった感情や空気感をさらに深く落とし込んだ、全18曲収録の大作となっている。
R&Bを軸にしながらも、黒く鋭いヒップホップの質感が随所に漂う今作は、m-alの現在地をより鮮明に映し出した作品だ。
客演にはスイス・チューリッヒ出身のラッパー、Ryler Smith が参加。国境を越えたコラボレーションがアルバムに新たな色を加えている。

アーティスト情報

  • m-al

    m-al 1985年生まれ、山口県出身のビートメイカー、アーティストm-al (マル)。様々なジャンルの音から再構築されたchillでdopeな音は海外からも高い評価を得ている。2018には自身が代表を務めるレーベルillspotよりMalCo.INR名義でのアルバムll essential breaksをリリース。ソロでもビートテープ、2019年４月には音の名門OILWORKSよりアルバム”ODD”をリリース。同年オタイレコード主催のBGP2019ではファイナリストに選ばれる。国内外合わせ数多くのアーティストへの楽曲提供、CM楽曲制作等幅広く活動する傍ら2020年12月にはラッパーのBLABLA、vue du mondeとのユニット"Pack3"ではPVINE.recよりアルバム"PACKQAGE"をリリース。
