kudaranai 1nichi
Originally founded in Fukuoka, Japan in 2016, Kudaranai 1Nichi is a Tokyo-based indie rock band consisting of vocalist / guitarist Takane, guitarist Taiyo, bassist Kawai, and drummer Kou Nakagawa. After releasing three EPs and one album by themselves, they have signed with Tokyo-based record label Ungulates and released a split with Tokyo's ANORAK!, and a 3-way split with Singapore's Cues and Indonesia's Hulica. Despite the pandemic, the band has continued touring and improving their music, finally releasing their long-awaited new album "Rebound" in the spring of 2022. Their music is inspired by midwest emo and screamo, and the singing style incorporates poetry reading like Tiny Moving Parts and Hotel Books. Their music will also attract fans of Japanese emo / alternative rock bands such as Eastern Youth and Lostage.
