like soda (feat. GUMI)

The new single "like soda (feat. GUMI)" will be released on September 1, 2026.

This track is a "youth pop" song that captures the tender feelings of budding romance, set to a sound defined by a sense of exhilarating speed and freshness.

The title "like soda" draws a parallel between the rush of excitement at the moment love begins and the sensation of carbonated bubbles popping.

In the chorus, the repetition of short, three-to-four-character phrases succinctly conveys the protagonist's emotions while combining with a catchy melody to create a pleasant, infectious groove.

Additionally, the pre-chorus features a call-and-response dynamic between the vocal melody and the guitar phrases, adding rhythmic energy and distinct accents to the song as a whole.

The music video focuses on the textures and colors of popping carbonation, creating fresh, vibrant visuals that resonate with the world of the lyrics.
The full version will be released on YouTube and Niconico Douga at 9:00 AM on the day of the launch-we hope you enjoy it.
