Until You Fall Asleep was written by Mitsuru when he was twenty years old for someone dear to him who was struggling through sleepless nights.

At the time, she was carrying a deep darkness within her heart. Every night, Mitsuru would play guitar and sing to her over the phone until she finally fell asleep.

One night, he spontaneously sang the phrase Until you fall asleep, I will keep singing. That simple moment became the beginning of this song.

Even when we cannot make the pain disappear, we can still stay by someones side. We can wait together until morning comes.

Written by a twenty year old for just one person, this song now reaches across time with the hope of gently staying beside anyone facing a long and sleepless night.

    Shiroharu is an IP artist unit formed by Mitsuru and Hikari. Centered on music and storytelling, Shiroharu transforms the stories of individuals, organizations, and businesses into artistic expressions through music, literature, and multimedia projects. The duo was formed on August 31, 2024, through the audio platform stand.fm. Within just one month of launching their activities, they reached No.1 on the platform's Music Ranking, gaining attention for their unique fusion of music and literary expression. Their creative philosophy is rooted in two themes: standing beside those who are suffering, and encouraging those who dare to pursue their dreams. Through songs, essays, stories, and other creative works, they seek to inspire hope, courage, and human connection. Mitsuru spent many years working in hospice care, accompanying countless individuals through the final stages of life. Drawing from these experiences, he creates stories and lyrics that explore life, loss, and hope. After a career in healthcare and welfare services, he chose an independent path dedicated to artistic expression through music and words. Hikari is a singer-songwriter and screenwriter whose vocals bring depth and emotion to Shiroharu's works. Her voice combines clarity and strength, breathing life into the stories they create. Prior to forming Shiroharu, both Mitsuru and Hikari had already established careers in music and literature. Their achievements include the PHP Award, the Bungei Shicho Essay Award, the Ozaki Hosai Award, and a Bronze Award in the Music Video & Vocalist category at the Houston International Film Festival. Together, they have created more than 100 original songs and have collaborated with producers from major Japanese record labels, as well as musicians who support nationally recognized artists and idol groups. Since 2025, Shiroharu has developed its own creative branding methodology, Sound Story Branding, which transforms personal and corporate narratives into music, films, written works, and other forms of artistic expression designed to create long-term value. On January 7, 2026, Mitsuru and Hikari founded HalScene Inc. Today, Shiroharu serves as the creative and philosophical core of the company, continuing to explore new possibilities at the intersection of music, storytelling, and human experience.
