I stepped upon the crater’s rim

Moon dust soft beneath my paw

In the silent void, I held my breath

Tail swaying gently without a thought

The world in grayscale, shadows still

My floating form like a dream at will

Countless stars twinkling far away

The black cat watched, serene and gray

A pebble hops, it drifts so slow

Gravity no longer holds me below

The far side of the moon, alone
