FUGUE is a mental disorder classified as
one of the dissociative disorders,
specifically known as dissociative fugue.
Those who suffer from this condition lose all memories of their past and behave as if they were entirely different people. The
cause is a defense mechanism triggered
by intense external stress to protect one's survival.
This album explores the theme of individuals who have fallen into deep tragedy,
despair, or setbacks and their STRATEGIC escape from hardshipwhether by rising
again with strength or fighting to break
free from their current situation.

Artist Profile

  • VENUS

    Members: Yu Tamura (Gt&Vo), Seita Fujiwara (Gt), Hideto Mori (Ba), Yuma Matsubuchi (Dr) A four-piece rock band from Akita City, Akita Prefecture, Japan. The band was formed in 2021 by Tamura, Fujiwara, and Mori, who were high school students at the time, and a drummer who was a classmate of Mori's. After two drummer changes, Matsubuchi joined the band in 2024, and has been a member ever since. Tamura is mainly in charge of songwriting, with lyrics completely in English, and the band's epic sound is reminiscent of Muse and Queen. The band also features a modern, electronic, and heavy sound similar to Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens. The band's musicality goes beyond simple rock and metal.
