Izka's second EP since transitioning from a piano-based singer-songwriter to a rapper. Following her previous release, the EP was recorded at DGH Studio under the supervision of Okinawan rapper CHOUJI.
As we grow older, it becomes harder to keep pursuing something simply because we love it. Still, this EP carries a message to stay true to what you love, regardless of age or society's expectations. That spirit is captured in the title, "Suki wo Moyase" ("Keep Your Passion Burning").
The music video for "Suru zo Datsusara," one of the tracks from the EP, is also available on Izka's YouTube channel.
Izka began her music career in September 2020 as a singer-songwriter, performing with piano accompaniment. She performed mainly at live houses in Tokyo while releasing original music videos and piano cover performances on YouTube. In March 2025, she transitioned into hip-hop and relaunched her career as a rapper with the release of her debut single, Do it. While balancing a full-time office job and her career as a rapper, Izka transforms the struggles, frustration, and self-doubt she experiences while chasing her dream into honest, down-to-earth lyrics. Through her authentic storytelling, she creates music that inspires listeners to keep moving forward. In April 2026, she released her first five-track EP, recorded at DGH Studio in Okinawa under the supervision of Okinawan rapper CHOUJI. In October, she released her second EP, Keep Your Passion Burning, and continues to pursue her music career with passion and dedication.
