I crave eternal life, it’s all I desire

But death awaits for all, a fate I can’t admire

What will happen to me, this life so grand and bright

Falls like vomit in the night—no joke, not right

But I have no knowledge, I can’t make it real

Eternal life’s a fleeting dream I can’t feel

Life is absurd—I’m just now realizing

I don’t want to think, yet it burns in my mind

What is this life?—I see the maze surprising

I don’t want to think, dying? No, not this time

I don’t want to die, but what meaning does it hold?

Death comes for all, a cycle, as we’re told

But maybe with everyone, happiness could end it right

Falling like a dream, the ideal death in sight

But choices aren’t mine, and I can’t comprehend

Eternal life’s a mystery I can’t defend

Life is absurd—isn’t that clear enough?

Think harder now, accept the fear so tough

What is this life? Are you a philosopher?

Too much to care, tonight I’ll sleep forever

Eternal life—who ever even dreamed it?

Death comes for all, so just accept it
