Lyric

Radio Youth

Tera Kira

Late at night, holding my pen so tight

Searching for words in the fading light

Beyond the earphones, a nostalgic tone

A stranger's whisper, feeling so alone

The city lights are sinking down so low

Mixed with the noise of feelings I don't know

The echo that rang through that silent night

"Keep on going," it whispered in the light

That voice wasn't strong, yet it reached so deep

How did it move the promises I keep?

Even when tired, even through the tears

You were right there, calming all my fears

Coming from the radio, a warm and gentle Echo

That was the season of my youth, I let go

Notes full of marks and an empty mug on the side

Voices echoing in the pages where I hide

Between the sighs and the sleepy, heavy eyes

"You can still do it," came the sweet surprise

It wasn't an answer, but it held me tight

Supporting me quietly through the longest night

Time has changed, the world is moving fast

Buried in the sounds of a digital past

But suddenly, it rings inside my head

The rustle of the voice, the words that were said

The echo in the gaps of the night

Forgotten memories whispering so bright

As if to a "me" I no longer know

"You'll be alright," letting the feelings flow

I won't hear that voice anymore, it's true

But sometimes I find my way back to you

Behind my eyelids, a voice's Echo

That was the season of my youth, I let go

Before the dawn begins to break

A quiet feeling starts to wake

I never said "Thank you," I never knew how

But I know you could hear me... then and now
