Artist Profile

  • Teechi

Hayato (Vocals), Masaki (Vocals/Guitar), Tomota (Bass), and Gaku (Saxophone/Sanshin) form this Okinawa-based band. The band name -Teechi- means one or unity in the Okinawan language, embodying their desire to unite the venue through the power of music. They won the overall championship at the 2024 Okinawa DREAM FESTIVAL TOP OF THE TOP, becoming the inaugural champions. Their original song - Haru - was selected as the theme song for the Okinawa International Film Festival short film - Ai o Tateru (Director: Kazuhiro Taira) - , the ending theme for an Okinawa Television Broadcasting (OTV) variety show, and a TV commercial song for Honma Group. In 2025, their second single -Chiisana Kodou- became the TV commercial song for Ryukyu Hearing Aids. That same August, they sold out their first solo live show in Tokyo, and in October, they successfully packed the Koza Music Town Oto Ichiba for another sold-out solo performance.
