Three Quiet Pieces is an EP of three gentle miniatures.
Each piece is quiet and unhurried, yet each carries its own slightly different expression.
They seem to gaze at the light of the same season, while the air around them shifts ever so slightly from one to the next.
This is not music that asks to be heard in grand terms.
Rather than illuminating some singular, extraordinary moment, these are sounds meant to rest softly within the nameless hours of everyday life, blending into the atmosphere of whatever space they enter.
Small pieces, quietly waiting to be returned to amid the repetition of ordinary days.
This work was conceived as a companion to Four Small Laments, a collection shaped by quiet shadows.
If that EP listens closely to the shadows that settle into daily life, this one reaches toward the calm and gentle traces that remain close beside them.
Neither was made for any special occasion, but for the landscapes of ordinary life - for music that can sound softly within them.
