2023年5月に6年ぶりの来日公演を行ったスワヴェク・ヤスクウケ。そのJAPAN TOURの中から岡山・蔭凉寺で行ったライヴのCD化。自身の様々なアルバムからの曲を、「寺」と「雨」というテクスチャーとともに新たな風景にしてしまった驚嘆と静寂の一夜の記録。 墨絵の世界が音になったかのようなマジカルすぎるピアノ・ミュージック。
「蔭凉寺は、ピュアでバランスの取れたエネルギー、平和、精神的調和に満ちた場所である。我々が到着すると、篠原真祐住職が抹茶と餅菓子を出してくれた。私は中央に座り、周囲の空間に浸り、この場所の調和を吸収した。ここでは、すべてが適切な場所にあり、周りの中でその役割を果たしていた。コンサート中、観客は私の音のひとつひとつに没頭し、音楽を感じ取ることに集中してくれた。それは深遠で、真のエネルギーを得られる体験だった。この録音からは、その場所のバランスの取れた良いエネルギーを感じることができる。」- スワヴェク・ヤスクウケ
■2017年の「THE PIANO ERA 2017」以来6年ぶりの来日公演を今年5月に行ったスワヴェク・ヤスクウケ。めぐろパーシモンホール大ホールでの「POLISH PIANISM Concert」を皮切りに、以降は「Piano solo Japan tour」として金沢(白鷺美術)/奈良(listude)/神戸(100BANホール)/岡山(蔭凉寺)/米子(米子新生教会)と各地でもライヴ・ツアーを行い大きな反響を呼んだ。そのツアーの中から5/18に岡山の蔭凉寺(いんりょうじ)で行ったライヴを今回CD化。
■今回のツアーは、各地の会場の雰囲気を当日感じてレパートリーと演奏方法を決めるという、インプロヴァイザーとしてのスワヴェクの魅力が各公演で大きく反映された。この岡山公演は清冽な寺の雰囲気と当日まばらに滴る小雨という要素に大きくインスパイアーされた内容で、会場をひとつの統一した空気にまとめあげた素晴らしい内容。寛永9年創建の蔭凉寺はライヴ寺としても有名で、土壁と乾燥した木材で作られた響きのよい本堂でこの日はグランドピアノにフェルトをセットして演奏された。
■当日の演奏曲は日本の「金継ぎ(欠けた陶磁器の修繕技法)」に感銘を受け、そこからイメージされた新曲「Kintsugi」から始まり、アルバム『Sea』『ミュージック・オン・キャンバス』『モーメンツ』、そして『夢の中へ Part II』収録曲からの異名同曲「Flying Flowers」などの全9曲が演奏され、そのうち5曲が今回アルバム用にセレクト(「East and Easy」は全会場での共通アンコール曲)。いずれもスタジオ録音曲をライヴ仕様として大きく発展させ、スワヴェク本人もこの日の演奏を「Reflective」と語るように墨絵の世界が音になったかのようなマジカルすぎるピアノ・ミュージックを披露した。コンセプトの異なる各アルバムからの曲を、雨と寺院というテクスチャーと共に新たな風景にしてしまう驚嘆と静寂の一夜の記録。

With the album "Park.Live, Nature Concrete Music" he reaches for achievements in the field of concrete music. His work, inspired by nature (the album "Sea") and human nature ("Senne", "The Son"), clearly follows the search for color and timbre in music. The album "Music on canvas" released in 2020 by Sea Label is the result of the fascination with Rafał Bujnowski's paintings and paintings from the "Nokturn Graboszyce" series. Creator of the project "Chopin for five pianos", premiered at Expo 2010 in Shanghai. Author of the album "Sea" from 2014, which aroused the admiration of the musical and opinion-forming circles.
