Liminal Rain *opioid

Nagoya-based artist ahn livin' in Nagoya huh?? has dropped the lead single from their upcoming 1st EP.

"Liminal Rain" is a track that explores the boundary between reality and dreams. By superimposing oneself onto heads of rice and prepupae, it captures the sense of becoming whole through being drenched in the rain.

The 1st EP, Half love, Half nirvana, transcends traditional genre boundaries. Built on a foundation of bedroom music, it intuitively channels influences from cloud rap, rage, alternative hip-hop, abstract, emo rap, and indie pop. During the production process, the artist holed up in their home studio to confront their own inner reflections, giving rise to an eerie, beautiful, and pure expression of Japanese decadence. Created entirely through freestyle without writing down any lyrics, the tracks capture raw, unfiltered emotion and the warmth of the moment.
