Sakepnk has been performing live set with his band and DJ at clubs in Tokyo. His specialty, micro-sampling, is utilized throughout his new release, Antifreeze, which is both chaotic and silky in texture at same time. This garage beat is sure to bring a breath of fresh air to garage beat scene from Tokyo.
An indie-pop singer affiliated with the creative label w.a.u, also active as a freelance model. With a background rooted in both Japan and the United States, she captivates listeners with her emotionally nuanced yet uplifting vocals. Her 2021 single "Don't Know Who I Am" was featured in the film The Most Harmless and Overly Aggressive, which was selected as a "Yubari Hope" at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. She also appeared as a featured artist in dreamers, an interview project by ahamo highlighting voices from Gen Z. Her music has gained early recognition, being featured in several major editorial playlists such as Spotify's "Borderless", "ORG.", "Girls On Fire", "Woman's Voice", and "Edge!", as well as Apple Music's "New in J-Rock" and "New in Alternative". With the release of her EP You & I on March 12, 2025, she was selected as the cover artist for Spotify's "Edge!" playlist - further solidifying her position as one of the most promising new voices in Japan's indie-pop scene.
