When the sun and moon align, the three-legged great raven known as "Kin-u" appears.
It presides over "Tenrin-goku" (The Celestial Wheel Prison), a scorching solar dungeon where condemned sinners are imprisoned.
This masterpiece, penned by Asagi as an original story, centers on the "Kin-u"-the counterpart to the "Gekkai-no-miko(Child of the Lunar World)" (the Moon Rabbit).
It employs a novel and innovative approach to depict the blazing solar corona, as well as the interplay of light and darkness.
The lineup features Rito ("Ai to Rito no mushozoku") making his debut on guitar, top-tier bassist IKUO (Rayflower / BULL ZEICHEN 88), and drummer HIROKI (D), who shares a perfect, intuitive rapport with the artist.
The coupling track is a self-cover of "Corvinus"-Asagi's debut solo song released twenty years ago-reimagined with a Japanese aesthetic and lyrics reconstructed entirely in archaic Japanese.
The title is rendered using the kanji characters "Kuro-ryu-u-i-do-so" (read as "Corvinus").
It is a "Japanese-style" digital rock track that incorporates new traditional Japanese elements while utilizing the original recording data from the late Tatsuya Kase for the guitar and bass parts.
The time has come for the raven-sung of in the language of old-to take flight across the vast sky once more after twenty years.
This is no mere new release.
An "aesthetic of darkness" that only Asagi can express is now descending from the sun.
