Chiild Hand is the solo project of Kotaro Nakamura, drummer for ANORAK! and other bands. His first body of work, the seven-track only game left in town, arrives on September 18.

The record was made around a feeling of having no choice but to keep moving forward, even while facing the past. Influences drawn from shoegaze, trip hop and dub are filtered through and put out in his own voice.

Hazed guitars, layered textures, electronic elements and blurred vocals blend into a sound with the texture of walking through fog. It resonates with the current US shoegaze / DIY scene centered on Philadelphia, while carrying an air that remains distinctly Japanese, and at moments turns experimental.
