「次世代のラウドシーンを創り、独創性を担い続ける」 2022年11月、愛媛県松山市にて結成。約3ヶ月の制作期間を経て、2023年3月より本格始動。 そのバンド名は、相反する命題が共存することへの困惑を表す哲学用語「Aporia」と、それに対する怒り「Wrath」を掛け合わせたことに由来。 Screamo / Post-Hardcore / Metalcore / Deathcore といった叙情的かつ激しいサウンドを軸に、EDMやポエトリーリーディングなど多彩な要素を融合。 混沌の中から生まれる、モダンで唯一無二の世界を奏でる。 正解の見えない現代。 誰が決めたわけでもない、"かくあるべき"という幻想が押し付けられ、そこから外れた者は嘲笑と排斥の対象となる。 匿名性に隠れて歪んだ悪意が誰かを追い詰め、偏見の中央値に過ぎない"普通"が、無自覚のまま暴力を生む。 それでも、人は倫理の名のもとに生きることを強いられ、抑圧された感情に蓋をする。 「そんな世界に警鐘を鳴らし、アウトサイダーの痛みを代弁する存在でありたい」 Vocal juが経験した苦悩、後悔、葛藤を糧に、 「悲しみに喘ぐ者」「普通であることに苦しむ者」に寄り添う音楽を目指す。 激しさの中で、どこか悲しく、どこか優しい響きを。 静と動の狭間で揺れ動く旋律が、あなたの苦しみに寄り添い、抜け出すきっかけになれたなら――それ以上の願いはない。
