Black Boboi5年ぶりのアルバム、『Sepia』は、3人の往復書簡によって書かれた架空のアポカリプス小説を題材に、トリップホップやテクノ、アンビエントを横断する、オルタナポップアルバム。

全曲聴き終えると、その自由な音像や詩世界を通して、一本の映画を見た後のような重厚感が残る。

技術革新により大きく変化してきた現代社会、倫理や道徳といったこれまでの当たり前が通じなくなってきた世界に、今3人が放つ表現は、懐古的(=Sepia)であることを肯定し、その上で未来にどう立ち向かっていくのか、問いている。

  • Black Boboi

    Black Boboi 2018年6月、音楽コミュニティレーベル「BINDIVIDUAL」の立ち上げをきっかけに、Julia Shortreed、Utena Kobayashi、ermhoiの3名で結成。2019年1月にミニアルバム「Agate」を発表し、同年8月にFUJIROCK FESTIVAL’19のレッドマーキーステージに出場。 2020年11月に1stアルバム「SILK」をリリース。 2023年にはmutek.jpに出演、2024年ベルリンで初の海外公演を行った。
