Lyric

The album "2020" was created since 2017. We have completed the material in recording sessions from 2019 to September 2020. While working on this album, we imagined ourselves as a film crew, not producing moving images, but a small unit that composed movie soundtracks.
All the songs on this album were written as background music for movie scenes that have never been made. They are the soundtracks of films about the conflicts in life, about the sudden downfall of a happy family, about the other side of the glittering metropolis, the twists and turns in making it in the big city, a passionate triangular love affair that ends tragically, an odd camaraderie, a murder mystery in a hotel room, a remorseful scoundrel, an adventure in finding one's selfhood, the lonely life of being left by a lover, the romanticized story of a writer who is always out of time, and about a woman who tries to escape her past. All of these stories are somehow connected to the glimpse of images from scenes that are still deeply embedded in the feelings and memories of Indonesian films from the past that have inspired us.
This "2020" album continues our exploration in creating cinematic pop music combined with stories of urban life today. We present it to be the soundtrack of your life today, and may it become an inspiration in the future.
