I wrote this song as the antithesis of having our values determined by others.
I am not the only one who tends to be influenced by values created by someone who is not me, including trends and times, or to compare myself with others and despise myself, and I am not the only one who falls into such situations.
I affirm such conflicts as necessary.
Because I believe that what is filtered through conflict is what is sufficient for true identity.
There is a theory that howling is an act of asserting one's own territory.
No one can take away your identity. No one can hurt you.
You can decide what values are important to you.

    Akari Kiki is a singer-songwriter who produces heart-stirring melodies and sympathetic lyrics. She creates songs that are close to the various emotions that emerge in life. With an edgy voice reminiscent of rock music and based on African-American music, She has carved out a unique worldview. Her lyrics contain themes that anyone can relate to, such as relationships with oneself and one's loved ones, daily struggles and growth, and are characterized by their realistic and unique expressions. She has been active since July 2024, producing original songs and music videos and performing at music bars, live houses, and mini festivals mainly in Tokyo. The music video for Poor Vampire, released in October of the same year, was picked up by the Dutch web magazine AVO Magazine, and has begun to attract attention from abroad as well.
