Yongsi
Influenced by her composer mother, Yongsi studied classical music, mainly piano, for seven years from the age of 4 and began composing at the age of 12. Stylistic features of the music pieces are mainly evident in the dark melodies (mainly orchestral and synthetic) and the electronic and ethnic drums overlaid with surprisingly recitative and narrative style vocals. Yongsi creates an odd, abstract world with psychedelic compositions set to luminous vocals, using her music to explore conflicts about the human spiritual world and the social problems it causes from an emotional perspective, and to reflect on and question existing knowledge and perceptions. With non-verbalised vocals that evoke the most genuine feelings in every human soul.
