【現代における印象派とミニマリズムの再構築。視覚と聴覚が溶け合う、新たなギターポップの地平】

本作は「現代における印象派・ミニマル」というテーマを掲げ、アンビエント的なテクスチャー、ポリリズムの多用、そしてモーダルな和声感を軸に構築された意欲作である。

クロード・ドビュッシーやスティーヴ・ライヒの思想に深く共鳴しながら、シューゲイザーやアンビエントを通過した感性で、現代のギターポップとしてそれらを再解釈した。レイ・ハラカミに代表されるエレクトロニカの緻密な質感をあえて生楽器によって再現する試みや、マスロック的なアプローチを従来とは異なる方法論でアウトプットすることで、映像との高い親和性を実現している。

視覚面においても、Ableton LiveのMax for Liveを用いた自作ビジュアライザーや、自身で撮影・編集した映像を全楽曲に付随させ、トータル・アートとしての完成度を追求した。

しかし、こうした緻密な構造の根底には「秀逸なメロディなくして音楽は届かない」という信念がある。調性が曖昧に揺らぐ和声の中に、空気を繋ぎ止めるようなメロディを配置。ポップスで培ったボーカルワークを融合させることで、前衛性とポピュラリティの両立を目指した。
