It is connected to people who want to live in peace

それは平和に暮らしたい人々とつながっている

In Ukraine, the war has continued for many years

ウクライナでは、戦争が長い間続いています

Many children have had to leave their homes

多くの子どもたちが、家を離れなければなりませんでした

Some children live in different towns inside Ukraine

ウクライナの中の違う町で暮らす子どももいます

Others live as refugees in other countries

他の国で難民として暮らす子どももいます

They may study in new schools and learn new languages

彼らは新しい学校で学び、新しい言葉を覚えるかもしれません

But they may miss their friends, teachers, and old classrooms

でも、友だち、先生、昔の教室が恋しいかもしれません

War can change a child’s daily life

戦争は子どもの毎日を変えることがあります

It can make it difficult to study, play, and sleep safely

それは安全に学び、遊び、眠ることを難しくします

Some schools have been damaged

壊れた学校もあります

So students cannot always learn in normal classrooms

Even when classes continue online

Students still need quiet places and people who support them

The war also affects the world outside Ukraine

Ukraine is important for food and farming

ウクライナは、食べ物と農業にとって大切です

When farming and trade are damaged

農業や貿易が影響を受けると

Food prices in other countries may rise

他の国の食べ物の値段が上がるかもしれません

This shows that war is not only one country’s problem

これは、戦争が一つの国だけの問題ではないことを示しています

It can affect families, schools, and daily life far away

それは遠くの家族、学校、毎日の暮らしにも影響します

In my opinion, students should learn about the war in Ukraine

私の意見では、生徒はウクライナの戦争について学ぶべきです

There are two reasons for this

これには二つの理由があります

First, we can understand how war affects ordinary people

まず、戦争が普通の人々にどう影響するかを理解できます

Second, we can think about why peace is important

次に、平和がなぜ大切かを考えることができます

Peace is not just a beautiful word

平和は、ただの美しい言葉ではありません

Peace means children can go to school without fear

平和とは、子どもたちが怖がらずに学校へ行けることです

Peace means families can sleep safely at night

平和とは、家族が夜に安全に眠れることです

Peace means people can plan tomorrow

平和とは、人々が明日を考えられることです

I do not want to see this war as someone else’s problem

私はこの戦争を、誰か他の人の問題だと見たくありません

I want to understand the lives behind the news

私はニュースの後ろにある暮らしを理解したい

I want to choose words that bring people closer

私は人々を近づける言葉を選びたい

I want to think about peace in my own words

私は自分の言葉で平和について考えたい
