    THE 48's was formed in 2014, aiming to create a so-called "Sex Funk" band in the direct vein of Leccoli. In the year 2020, something unexpected happened all over the world. In the year 2020, unexpected things happened all over the world and the band was forced to take a hiatus. In 2022, in order to give shape to the countless afterimages of sounds inputted during the two years of absence, the band resumed its activities with a drastic change in members, centering on vocalist Ryunosuke Sakamoto and guitarist Yoshiaki Tsukamoto. They seamlessly jump around all kinds of music in all directions, and produce a genre-less and realistic sound that can only be produced by these members.
