Affective Synergy is a Japanese V-Rock band. The band is organized by Lin, a Chinese guitarist who has spent most of his life in Japan. Lin left his Japanese label in 2011, after being with them for three years, to develop his own solo project named Affective Synergy under his own label, Grows Independent Music. Afterwards, he joined the band Lilith, but when he moved to Shanghai Affective Synergy was put on hiatus. Affective Synergy got its new start on Oct. 21, 2016 and new members joined the band: (Vocals) Ao. (Guitar) Lin, and (Bass) Mahiro. Their song, "In the Dawn", is featured as the ending theme of the animation "Hitorinoshita-the outcast-"; an animation that aired in Japan and China in the summer of 2016. In May of 2017, they announced the debut of their newest singles which will be released across a period of 3 months. "monologue" is the second single to be released.
Affective Synergy is an international visual kei rock band formed around the concept of "Resonance of Emotions." With the current lineup consisting of Vo. +Yuu-, Gt. Lin-, Ba. Mahiro-, and Dr. Yue-, the band creates a unique world through a fusion of powerful soundscapes and delicate melodies. In 2016, their song "In the Dawn" was featured as the ending theme for the anime "Hitori no Shita: The Outcast," followed by live performances across Tokyo, Osaka, Taipei, and Shanghai. After approximately nine years, Affective Synergy reunited as AS2026 and has now entered a new phase of activity.
