'Koro Koro Kororon'

'Koro Koro Kororon' is the fourth track from Karada de Asobou ('Let's Play With Our Bodies'), a movement-and-bonding album designed for children aged 0-3 and the adults who share their everyday play.

With a gentle acoustic jazz swing, the song invites children to explore simple movements such as looking, reaching, shifting their body, and taking a pause. While the child lies comfortably on their back, an adult can stay nearby, make eye contact, talk gently, or place a safe toy within the child's visual field to encourage natural movement and curiosity.

The playful phrases 'right' and 'left' encourage children to explore different directions with their eyes and body. These experiences can become part of the natural movement exploration that develops during infancy, including movements associated with rolling.

The 'Stop & Go' sections are an important part of the song. When the music stops, adults are encouraged to pause and observe the child's facial expressions, sounds, gaze, and movements rather than immediately helping. If the child responds, the music starts again with a joyful 'Koron!'

Every child develops at their own pace. The goal is not to make a child roll over successfully, but to create an enjoyable opportunity to explore their own body, movement, curiosity, and connection with a caring adult.

Koro, koro.
Every new direction brings a new view,
and every little movement opens up a bigger world.
