Artist Profile

  • enonimu

The name enonimu is born from reversing uminone meaning the sound of the sea in Japanese. Like waves that drift and return, her piano flows between stillness and motion. I want to turn into sound the moments that capture the heart and will not let go. Not to heal, but to stir, to move to let something inside tremble and awaken. In her album tayutau mama ni (As I Drift), each piece lingers like a ripple upon water a conversation between sound and silence, between what is heard and what fades away. Her music does not seek to soothe, yet it quietly touches something deep, like a breath that becomes the sea itself.
