5.67 billion years later

This piece was composed based on the belief held at Okunoin on Mount Koya that Kobo Daishi Kukai has entered a state of eternal meditation, as well as the legend of the Bodhisattva Maitreya, who is prophesied to appear in 5.67 billion years. It depicts a magnificent narrative set in this sacred site where Sengoku-period warlords also rest of Kukai continuing his meditation to this day, awaiting the moment to bring salvation to the people.
