この賛美を聴いてくださる皆様へ
2003年9月1日、24歳だった私はキリスト教の宣教師として来日しました。初めは、自分が日本の方々に福音を伝えるためにこの地に立たされていると思っていました。しかし、20年という宣教活動を経て今思うことは、無数に捧げて来た祈り、伝えて来た福音、涙ながらに歌った賛美に一番救われたのは自分自身でした。神の恵みによって救われ、御言葉に立たされ、日本の多くの方々に助けられ今を生かされていることに心から感謝しています。
今回のアルバムは、その20年間の宣教活動の中、様々な理由で世に送り出さなかった自作の曲を中心に選曲しました。どうか聴いてくださる皆様の魂が聖霊の臨在で満たされ、癒やされ、励まされますように心からお祈りします。
最後に、グレイス合唱団、多くのシンガーとミュージシャンの方々、祈りで支えてくださった皆様と愛する私の家族に心から感謝を述べたいと思います。本当にありがとうございます。
