Flavor

Don't disappear

Ego

Lily

Noise

Choice

Boy you

Vase

Test

Piece

Doll

    GRAY (Instrumental)

    Alé

Alé's first single, created through a co-writing collaboration with Ryosuke Hosoi, who handled songwriting, composition, arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering with a high level of technical skill.

Blending a mellow and groovy R&B sound with a breathy, husky vocal and a rhythm sensibility uncommon among Japanese artists, the track expresses the sense of loss, loneliness, and a gray emotional state that appears when love begins to fade.

Featuring guitarist Nozomu Sasaki of Soulife, known for providing songs to artists such as King and Prince, Sakurako Ohara, and Sakurazaka46.

The release includes three versions: main vocal, chorus version, and instrumental, allowing listeners to experience different sides of the track.

Artist Profile

  • Alé

Alé is a singer-songwriter rooted in 90s R&B and Neo-Soul, blending elements of Soul and Jazz into a modern Alternative R&B sound. Her music is defined by delicate vocals, precise rhythm, and a non Japanese R and B feel, with lyrics moving fluidly between Japanese and English. She formed the team connect in 2019, released the mini album Ivy in 2020, appeared on The Karaoke Battle in 2021, and joined Nariaki Obukuro Japan Tour in 2022 including Fuji Rock Festival 22. In 2024 she founded connect Records, and in October 2025 released Chapter, which was selected for Spotify Editorial Playlist Groovin R and B. Through music she seeks to connect directly with listeners, inviting each person to awaken to their essence and live with their own voice.
