石垣島出身唄うたい"RaGmy"。両親への思いを綴った[ピタンガの木]、愛するクラゲになったつもりで書き下ろした[Blue Jelly Fish-くらげのうた-]、彼女の代表曲とも言える2曲を含む全6曲入りのミニアルバム、2016年にCDリリースされた「ピタンガの木」がついに配信開始。

Artist Profile

  • RaGmy

    A singer-songwriter from Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, known for her love of jellyfish. From an early age, she participated in singing contests and talent school auditions, where she developed her skills in singing, dancing, and guitar on her own. She began writing lyrics and composing music during her junior high school years. At the age of 15, she represented Ishigaki Island at the [Koza Music Festival] a gateway for emerging bands in Okinawa, and won the Best Vocalist Award. During her school years, she was active in a band as a drummer. She also received a Special Award for the Kyushu-Okinawa region in the preliminary round of the high school music competition [Music Koshien] After graduating from high school, she moved to Tokyo and performed mainly in live houses, building her career as an artist. In 2011, she won the Grand Prize at a competition hosted by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. In 2016, she released her mini-album [Pitangā no Ki] Currently based in Ishigaki Island, she continues her musical career while also working as a producer, focusing on discovering and developing local artists.
