Joint Beauty, a beatmaker/producer who has released works on OILWORKS (led by Olive Oil) and Urbnet Records, a long-established independent Canadian label, and who has received support from many quarters for her outstanding beat sense and production skills, has released her first album in two and a half years, "nell" on Trigger Records.
With a solid lineup of guest artists from Japan and abroad, Joint Beauty carefully incorporates her own personal worldview into each song, while keeping hip-hop at the core of the album, and embodies a wide range of musical styles.
In addition to MC/rappers such as tofubeats, Dengaryu, FARMHOUSE, maco marets, and BUPPON, singers ZIN, Seira Kariya, and MAHINA APPLE also participated. From overseas, Uhmeer, the biological son of DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Moka Only from Canada are featured.
Both the mixing and mastering were done by Joint Beauty himself, and the album is a technical expression of his own original sound image.
