Flashback / Taion

The single "Flashback / Taion" marks new territory for New Masse II, who resumed their activities alongside the release of their first album, Letter.

The lyrics, written as if to sort through unresolved emotions, seem to capture where Hiroshi Matsuse is right now. The refreshing piano melodies with an organic texture, along with the beat-making, also leave a strong impression. A conceptual work filled with the hope that it might help someone, paused at a turning point between seasons, take a step forward once again.
