Bleeding audio

On a train or a bench, the close distance between two people sitting side by side. From the earphone connected to your ear, a "melody I don't know" faintly leaks out. Desperately yet secretly, I try to follow the sound with my ears-this frustrating yet endearing moment of "an unrequited love just a few centimeters away" is sublimated into a modern minimal synth-pop (elepop) track. To completely differentiate the melody from all previous songs, it adopts a vocal line built on a "minimalist, repeating refrain" that obsessively loops the exact same pitch. A stripped-down sound that eliminates chords and extra embellishments to the absolute limit emotionally conveys the tiny vibrations leaking from the earphone and the realistic tension of a racing heartbeat, delivering a truly trendy number.
