This is the theme song for "Smile Factory," a dance and English conversation school located in Furano, Hokkaido.
It was created in 2024 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Smile Factory.
The school's philosophy, "Empowering lives through dance" and "Learning English with joy," is rooted in the idea that individuals can find their own "place of belonging" in a third space-neither school nor home.
Inspired by this philosophy and the desire to continue providing such a space, the song was titled "Kokoro Koko" (Heart Here), and its lyrics were written with this vision in mind.

The song conveys the message: "You are not alone. With the support of your companions, you can move forward. By respecting and accepting one another, we can realize that we are all brimming with potential, no matter our age-whether a child or an adult."
We hope you'll hum along, feel uplifted, and even dance to this song.
It would mean so much if you could listen to it while reflecting on your own cherished experiences and memories.

In the process of creating this song, we had the privilege of having our instructors, AKKUN and REiNA, debut as singers. While the journey involved challenges and placed significant demands on them, we are deeply grateful for their dedication to bringing the song to life.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to Mr. Kisaichi for composing the music, Mr. Oda for his engineering work in creating such a wonderful song, and Mr. Koguma for designing the beautiful cover artwork.
This experience has made us realize just how fortunate we are to be surrounded and supported by such incredible people.

Moving forward, this song, "Kokoro Koko", will continue to grow. Please look forward to it!
