EMILAND
The People in Yellow. Proud of the Yellow's Soul. Formed at the end of Japan's Heisei era by Super Soul Diva Emi after the breakup of her former band ZUKUNASI, EMILAND was born from a desire to create something funkier, louder, and more powerful. Four uniquely charismatic musicians come together to deliver a soulful, funky, energetic, and humorous live experience that sets dance floors on fire. With their explosive performances and unmistakable personality, EMILAND brings the spirit of Japan's underground soul and funk scene to stages across the country. The band organizes the indoor festival SOULBOOK and the event DYNAMITE COASTER, while also collaborating with artists and creating music for corporate projects and special units. EMILAND released their debut album OPEN in 2020, followed by four 7-inch EPs and their second album ROLL in 2023.
