When They Try

I see myself as someone who "can do it when I try, and grows when praised."
But there have been countless nights when I've felt inferior, comparing myself to others,
telling myself it's meaningless--but still, getting hurt all the same.

This song is a message of self-redemption,
and I wrote it hoping it might help someone else find the strength to rise again.

The more dreams you have, the more painful it can get.
Sometimes, living feels far harder than dying.
But even so--it's in those moments beyond the pain that we realize:

"I'm glad I stayed alive."

This track is my answer--filled with all the struggles and hope I've carried.
If it pushes someone even a little forward,
then that alone makes it worth it.
