New Town V is a Japanese home recording unit. They create music that blends opposing elements such as mass and core, lo-fi/hardcore and J-pop. They are well-known for their poetry, with the lyrics to their song "Gyudon for morning" being featured in the "Songs and Words" feature in the five-star literary magazine "Bungei". In 2026, they released a co-written and re-recorded version of "Morning Set Meal" featuring Yasunao Yoshida of TRIPLE FIRE, a veteran of the Tokyo indie scene.
