"Exp" is the second album by the bass and drum unit shingotosow.

This is also a one-take improvisation with just the bass and drums.

But it doesn't seem like it's full-fledged reggae this time.

It's a 90s hip-hop, abstract beat approach.

SO's drums are amazing.

Inspired by his wild groove, the bass is tripping too.

I can't play the same phrases anymore.

It's a product that only came down on February 25, 2025.

The only thing I regret is that it ends at a point that makes you think, "Eh, I wish it could have continued longer..."

I cut out the beat that was born at the climax of the session, so I hope you can imagine that background while enjoying the sudden change of scenery, as if you had suddenly hopped on an express train.
