60年代サイケデリックロックやソウル、ブルースなどから派生した様々な形のブラック・グルー ヴを大きな音楽的ルーツの一つとして共有するプロデューサーの01sailとシンガーソングライ ター・ポエマーのRaylowgh Annoが、二人の哲学や本能に忠実な音楽を作り出すことをテーマ としてDeadwood Choirを結成。

01sail (オーワンセイル)は東京を拠点に活動する木更津出身のプロデューサー/ギタリスト。クリエイティ ブレーベル"w.a.u"の一員である。10代半ばからブルースやカントリーをはじめとするアメリカン・ルーツ ミュージックに親しみ、上京後はR&Bジャムセッションシーンでギタリストとして活動。近年はスタジオ ミュージシャンとして他アーティストの作品に参加しつつ、ブラック・ミュージックをはじめとするさまざ まな音楽への深い造詣を活かしながら楽曲のプロデュースや映画音楽の制作など幅広い活動している。
