The long-awaited new single from Tiny Step "Southside" Trio.
The A-side features "The Last Waltz," a timeless classic cover that they have performed for many years and which previously won high acclaim upon its digital release. Coupled on the B-side is "Days of July," a highly anticipated new track freshly recorded for this release.
On "Days of July," the group steps beyond the boundaries of a traditional trio with an ambitious multi-instrumental arrangement, featuring Yamaguchi on Hammond organ and flugelhorn, and Mori on drums, piano, and French horn. The multi-layered, warm textures of the brass and keys vividly capture the atmosphere of the changing seasons. Please enjoy this ultimate instrumental single.
Tiny Step "Southside" Trio is one of the several units formed by a Hammond organist and a Keyboardist Yokinori Yamaguchi. In 1999, Yamaguchi created the Hammond organ-centered instrumental band FULL SWING and had performed all over Japan. While working with his original band, he has performed with well known artists such as Keiichi Sokabe's PINK BAND, Magokoro Brothers, and Sunny Day Service. He's been working with various artists/bands as well as for commercial music. In 2015, FULL SWING went on hiatus, and Yamaguchi started his new career under the name of Tiny Step. The unit collaborates with a guitarist and a drummer And they produce a Caribbean style of music such as Rocksteady, Ska or Calypso.
