There's nothing hold me back
Can you hear me now?
We're always one
I,I'm looking for you
Only my heart
Cause I'm dreaming of you
I,I'm looking for you
El dorado
Inside of you
Inside of you
Far,far away
We're always one
We're always one
Cause I'm dreaming of you
I,I'm looking for you
El dorado
Inside of you
Inside of you
We're always one
No matter who you are I love you(I love you)
I,I'm looking for you
(No matter who you are)
(There's nothing hold me back)
(I love you)
(Can you hear me now?)
El dorado
(We're always one)
(We're always one)

El dorado
LISA YOSHITOMI
Japanese artist LISA YOSHITOMI releases her latest single "El dorado," a deeply personal work born from the loss of a loved one, carrying a singular wish: to meet again-if not in this life, then in the next.
"El dorado," meaning "utopia" in Spanish, is reimagined here as a spiritual destination-a place where reunion transcends life and death. The track navigates grief, longing, and hope, unfolding as an emotional journey across time and existence.
The project stands out as a bold fusion of hip-hop and Noh, one of Japan's most ancient performing arts. By merging contemporary rhythms with the philosophical depth and aesthetic minimalism of Noh, LISA YOSHITOMI constructs a sonic and visual language that bridges modern expression and centuries-old spirituality.
The music video further amplifies this concept. Inspired by the idea of the Noh stage as a representation of the afterlife, the video is filmed on an actual Noh stage. It intercuts scenes from a high school-symbolizing the present world-with sequences set in the Noh stage, portrayed as a liminal space where the artist attempts to reunite with the lost presence. This duality creates a striking contrast between reality and the metaphysical.
Entirely self-produced, the project reflects LISA YOSHITOMI's singular vision-from storyboarding to directing and shooting the music video-demonstrating a commitment to crafting an immersive and cohesive artistic statement.
"El dorado" is not just a song, but a cross-cultural and cross-temporal exploration of loss, memory, and the enduring human desire to reconnect beyond the boundaries of life.
