Kazuma Mitchell
Kazuma Mitchell is a Japanese-American singer songwriter known for bridging Western and Asian pop scenes. Born in New York City in 2000, he moved to Tokyo at age eight, where he developed his musical identity in a bilingual, cross-cultural environment. Kazuma blends J-pop with R&B, lo-fi, and electronic influences. His work often incorporates bilingual lyrics and self-production, rooted in a jazz-informed foundation while maintaining a modern pop sensibility. He first gained recognition as a member of the boy group INTERSECTION, which debuted in 2018 under Avex with a global-oriented concept. He later transitioned into a solo career, releasing projects such as the CODE LOVE EP and singles like White Stallion and Drown, with White Stallion achieving significant commercial success in China. His popularity expanded further following his appearance on the Chinese survival show Chuang 2021, helping him build a large international fanbase. A unique aspect of his career is his dual path as both an artist and a student, having graduated Harvard University while continuing to release music. In 2026, Kazuma released his EP Limerence, marking a continued evolution of his sound. The project builds on his signature intimate and genre-blending style, further exploring themes of emotion, attachment, and modern relationships while refining his self-produced, globally influenced approach.
