聴き手を夢中にさせる30分のハマータイム!
ー お笑い芸人 永野
Hentera is a two-piece band based in Kumamoto, Japan. They perform with a minimal setup of guitar and drums, creating music centered around minimalism and odd time signatures. Their sound features repetitive, addictive phrases and playful, comic-style lyrics, forming a unique balance between seriousness and humor. In live performances, they use loopers and various effects to build layered soundscapes. Sharp rhythmic cutting coexists with noise and ambient textures, resulting in a three-dimensional sound despite their minimal configuration. In 2025, they produced a one-man live performance video titled "hole", filmed in an empty concert hall in Kumamoto. The project was entirely self-directed, including sound, lighting, and spatial design. The video has surpassed 50,000 views on YouTube. They continue to pursue the groove that exists between repetition and variation, while valuing the density and subtle dissonance that emerge from a minimal setup.
