    Aomi ryu is a singer-songwriter from Tokyo, Japan. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began sharing acoustic cover performances on social media in 2021. In March 2026, she released her first original works, Another me / close your eyes, marking the official start of a new chapter in her career as Aomi Ryu. The project featured collaborations with TPSOUND from HUGEN and beat makers Qunimune. In July 2026, she followed with her second single, say it anyway. Built upon tribal rhythms inspired by Baile Funk and crafted by Qunimune, the track combines ethereal vocals and whisper-like choral arrangements to further explore her distinctive artistic world. Blending introspective lyrics, transparent vocals, and dark pop production, Aomi Ryu creates an immersive sonic landscape defined by a contemporary sensibility and a unique artistic aesthetic.
